Guide to manage your collection pre-reveal settings and reveal your collection.

About Pre-reveal & Reveal:

Sometimes, creator/project owner don’t reveal their artwork until after the project mint out. When user participate in the collection mint, the NFT everyone mints will at first look the same, which is placeholder pre-reveal artwork. The “real” NFT metadata and artwork will be “revealed” afterward when the creator/project owner upload and update the collection NFT’s metadata.

Manage Pre-reveal Setting

If you wish to change collection pre-reveal image to something else or update the description:

  1. Click on Replace and select a new image from your computer.

  2. Enter new description into provided field.

  3. Once you updated either part, the Update button will turn active. Click on Update button once you're satisfied with your changes

  4. Approve the Gas fee.

    A message will appear within your connected wallet for you to approve the gas fee to complete the update. Gas fees are the cost of interacting with the blockchain. Gas fees are not set or collected by Freee.


Reveal Collection

Collection reveal normally happen after collection is minted out. Creator/Project owner will then upload and reveal their real collection to collectors.

To reveal your collection,

  1. Upload your collection artworks. Freee provide 2 ways for creator/project owner to upload collection artwork. You can choose either Upload from your computer or Import self-hosted collection artworks. You can find more detail on how to upload collection artworks here.

  2. Click on Reveal button when your artwork ready.

  3. Approve the Gas fee.

    A message will appear within your connected wallet for you to approve the gas fee to complete the update. Gas fees are the cost of interacting with the blockchain. Gas fees are not set or collected by Freee.

  4. A success dialog will pop out once collection reveal successfully. You can now view your collection artworks on Freee or any secondary market. Do note that it might take sometime, normally less than 5 minutes, for collection artwork to update on secondary market.
